Today Was Eye Opening

Hello I'm Laura,
So over the course of the last few years I have noticed that I've put on a bit of weight. I used to sit quite comfortably around the 8st mark (give or take half a stone) and I've gradually gotten up to 10st. That was what I thought until I used those glorious digital scales. I come in at 11st 4lbs.
And before anyone starts telling me that's not fat trust me it is. I'm 5'4" with a BMI of 27.1...Yeah last time I checked that was fat.
I have a history of obesity in my family. My Mother has been obese my entire life. In fact my Uncle passed away a few years ago because he was so fat his heart stopped. I know I'm being harsh here but sometimes you have to be. I made myself fat, I can damn well make myself thin again.
I had already decided to watch what I eat and to exercise more. Today was the first time I'd gone running in almost two years and it felt like death. But that's not going to stop me doing it again tomorrow. Now  know how much I actually weigh I'm going to stop half-assing it.

June 1 - 154lbs
June 8 - 150lbs
June 15 -146lbs
June 22 - 142lbs
June 29 - 138lbs
July 6 - 134lbs
July 13 - 130lbs
July 20 - 126lbs
July 27 - 122lbs
August 3 - 118lbs
August 10 - 114lbs
August 17 - 110lbs
August 24 - 106lbs
August 31 - 102lbs
September 1 - 98 lbs

As you can see I'm aiming for 4lbs a week, which might get difficult towards the end. But for the first few weeks it should be easy.

This week I'm focusing on cutting out junk food, controlling my meal sizes, drinking 2L of water a day and getting back into the habit of exercising regularly.
